My Story
With a lifelong passion for healthy living and a love of plant-based cuisine, I have always been inspired to live life in a way that nurtures health through pleasure and good food.
I started pursuing my culinary enthusiasm in the restaurant industry while refining my taste for art and culture by studying French and Art History in college. To further expand my knowledge and skill set, I became a certified raw food chef and instructor at the Living Light Culinary Academy. Soon after, I completed the WSET advanced wine educator certification.
Embracing the raw food movement has given me a deeper understanding of plant-based ingredients and a set of skills unique to what’s taught in most culinary schools. I am grateful for the tools I have acquired to create and share beautiful food.
Since then, I’ve been fortunate to play an integral role in several well renowned restaurant and education projects, authored multiple plant-based cookbooks and launched a multi-purpose vegan skincare brand- Nucifera Body.
I’ve also created the At Home Vegan project with the idea that if more people learned how to work with plant food, the kitchen would be an easier, healthier and more interesting place for everyone.
